LAFC head coach Steven Cherundolo has announced that Olivier Giroud will finally be available to play for the MLS team in their upcoming Leagues Cup match against the San Jose Earthquakes. Despite signing Giroud on a free transfer in April, he only officially joined the team on August 1 after participating in the European Championship with France.

Giroud is anticipated to make his debut in the Leagues Cup following a stellar 2023-24 season with AC Milan, where he showcased his skills with 15 goals and eight assists in 35 regular-season matches.
